About Richland Club 40

WHAT IS CLUB 40? We are a group of Col-Hi/Richland High alumni founded in 1987 by a group of 1940s graduates who wanted to honor those whose class had graduated (forty) 40 years or more before.

MISSION OF CLUB 40:

The mission of the Richland Club 40 non-profit organization is to promote and preserve the history of Richland/Col-High School, the history of the City of Richland, WA and the Atomic Energy facility at Hanford, provide scholarships to current Richland High School graduates and support the current RHS activities.

MEMBERS OF CLUB 40:

Current membership consists of Col-Hi/Richland High School alumni who are 21 years or older. Club 40 is guided by four (4) elected officers—President, Vice-President, Secretary and Treasurer, along with a Board of Directors. Club 40 has a Data Base Manager who keeps track of the names, addresses, etc. of all members who are current in their dues. We publish a newsletter called the Dust Storm twice a year after the "Fall" and "Spring" Board of Directors meetings. The Editor collects articles, pictures, etc. from alumni who want to participate. WHERE AND WHEN DO WE MEET?

The Annual Meeting of Club 40 is typically held in Richland, Washington on the first weekend after Labor Day In September each year. Each alumni class votes for two individuals to represent their class on the Board of Directors. In turn, the Board of Directors elect the officers for the coming year and conduct any other necessary Club 40 business.

The Annual Meeting also provides the opportunity to bring together all classes to share in the memories and promote the spirit of Richland High School.

Dinner is served on Friday and Saturday nights. We have raffles both nights with memorabilia from Richland High supporting the Scholarship Program and sometimes a band or entertainment on Saturday.

Those who like the idea of yearly get-togethers are invited to send $10.00 dues (per couple). You will receive a winter and a summer issue of the Bomber Dust Storm containing messages from classmates, Col-Hi (Richland High) nostalgia, stories about Bombers, and reunion plans.

A "Dues Only" Registration Form is available from the following link.
Print out the form and mail with a $10.00 check (per couple) to the address below.
